Learn More About The Garrison House

The Garrison House Venue is family owned and operated, dedicated to providing families with a gorgeous Victorian setting in the middle of Carthage, Missouri, for families to celebrate life’s events and for businesses to have professional meetings or trainings.

Each meeting room has its own coat closet and covered break areas. The new kitchen has designated refrigerators, counter space, and sinks for each of the meeting rooms, as well as a microwave.

The Garrison House Venue is located in the middle of town, in the historic district. It is close to Central Park, historic downtown square and courthouse, pickle ball courts, walking/biking trails, Route 66, Boots Motel, hospital, civil war museum, civil war reenactment of one of the first civil war battles, Victorian Drive, Precious Moments, Red Oak II, Stones Throw Theater, Maple Leaf Parade route, and Marion Days site.

Carthage, Missouri was one of the first concrete portions of Missouri’s highway system. It was a stretch of road from west of Carthage to Joplin, Missouri. It was laid in 1920 and in 1928 became part of the National Highway 66. Carthage is now located at the crossroads of I-44 and I-49.

Lodging is available at the Airbnb for The Garrison House with accommodation for up to nine people. This makes being the host of your event easier when you stay onsite. There is ample lodging available 5-10 minutes from the venue.
